Harbor Lights and Sights of Syracuse
The Lakefront is dedicated to building and maintaining a pleasant and attractive atmosphere by creating a model neighborhood where people live, work and play.
The Lakefront area has two distinct residential areas. The first is the Maciejowa neighborhood at the southern end of the area is a small community of descendants who settled the area many years ago and who have produced an entire generation who still reside in this neighborhood. This is a close knit group of residents who live and work together. The second area is within Franklin Square, a former factory and commercial district which has been transformed into offices, condominiums, and apartments. The Lakefront also includes the Inner Harbor and the newly developed Creekwalk.
