Downtown Committee hosts Progress Breakfast March 29th
You're cordially invited to the first Progress Breakfast of 2018, presented by Eric Mower + Associates and the Downtown Committee.
Join us for breakfast at 8:00 am at SKY Armory (map), on Thursday, March 29. You'll hear directly from three speakers, who will share insights about how activities happening in Downtown Syracuse influence the region!
Newly elected Mayor Ben Walsh will share his perspective on how what happens in Downtown Syracuse impacts the City of Syracuse and its residents.
Samara Hannah, executive director of the Redhouse Arts Center, will share details on the dramatic transformation of the former Sibley's building into a new state-of-the-art theater and how a move into downtown Syracuse creates new opportunities.
Jim Fox, CEO and chairman of OBG, will share his reflections on how OBG has evolved as it nears its 10-year anniversary in Downtown Syracuse - a move that paved the path for future growth and raised the profile of a downtown location!
Plus, Downtown Committee of Syracuse executive director Merike Treier will preview results from the Downtown Committee's most recent constituent survey and share an exciting announcement that will enhance the downtown employee experience.
As part of this special program, all presenters will also be available after breakfast, giving guests an opportunity to mingle and network in a personal setting.
You may purchase individual seats for $25, or a table of eight seats for $200.

SALTQuarters Open House March 8th 6-8pm
The Near Westside Initiative will be hosting a neighborhood open house on Thursday, March 8 from 6-8pm at SALTQuarters (115 Otisco St). The open house is designed to give residents the opportunity to see the Near Westside Initiative’s new space in SALTQuarters, and also to learn more about and provide some feedback on upcoming projects Performance Park and the SALTspace Performance Space.
